What We Do

Veterans for Information Integrity and TVP

A partnership between

&

Establishing an innovative prevention ecosystem in the veteran and military family community for targeted violence, terrorism and information integrity, while promoting patriotic participation to strengthen our community and our nation.

Service is about upholding the principles of American values enshrined in our constitution and guaranteed through the sacrifices of veterans and their families. Our way of life is threatened when America’s foreign adversaries and other malicious actors target our community. At the extremes, those distortions are used to justify acts of violence and disrupt the things we have fought so hard for during our centuries of existence as a nation. We the Veterans convenes thought leaders, practitioners, and key stakeholders from the veteran and military family communities to serve as trusted voices in addressing these threats.

Veterans for Information Integrity and TVP

  • Information Integrity Working Group

The Information Integrity Working Group addresses threats in the information space to our community and our country, with a focus on veteran- and military family-driven outcomes.

  • Targeted Violence Prevention (TVP) in America Working Group

The TVP Working Group addresses the national security threat from calls to violence, often propped up by operations of our foreign adversaries, against our countrymen and women.

  • Patriotic Engagement Working Group

The American citizenry at large looks to members of the military, veterans, and their families for cues and guidance regarding patriotic participation. Our community’s perceived knowledge of civic matters provides us with an outsized influence in our communities - a responsibility we must live up to. There is an opportunity to increase positive patriotic engagement and capacity of the citizenry at large while bolstering societal resistance to information operations by enhancing the civic competencies of our military, veteran, and military family community.

WTV is a collaborative effort among veterans, families of veterans and military members, Military Support Organizations, and Veteran Support Organizations. Funding is provided by members of our community, philanthropic organizations, and foundations. Additionally, this project is partially funded by the U.S. Department of Homeland Security’s Center for Prevention Programs and Partnerships, opportunity number DHS-22-TTP-132-00-01. WTV and our sponsoring partners are proud to continue the traditions of service the members of our community hold sacred.
